The Nambucca Valley Council NEWS is a new initiative providing the community with a brief update on what is happening at Council along with an overview of projects that have either been completed or are in progress.  It is produced on a fortnightly basis and published in the Guardian News or the Mid Coast Observer with the very first edition published on 15 July 2020.

Nambucca Valley Council, at its Ordinary Meeting held 24 September 2020, held its annual election for the important role of Deputy Mayor. The incumbent, Councillor John Wilson, was re-elected unopposed for a third consecutive term as Deputy Mayor.
