Nambucca Shire Council is presently seeking public comment on a proposed amendment to the Nambucca Local Environmental Plan 2010 (LEP). The proposed amendment includes the partial rezoning of Lots 11 & 12 DP 1017408, Lot 1 DP 1113153, and Lot 2 DP 514920 known as 1796, 1812 and 1820 Giinagay Way, Nambucca Heads from RU1 Primary Production to R1 General Residential. The areas of the land affected by flood and which contain remnant native vegetation are proposed to be zoned E3 Environmental Management. Development standards applicable to residential zoned land will be applied to the proposed R1 General Residential zoned section of the land.
The Minister of Planning has chosen to delegate the making of the LEP to Nambucca Shire Council. The draft LEP may be viewed and downloaded from Council’s website www.nambucca.nsw.gov.au. It is also displayed at Council's Administration Centre at 44 Princess Street, Macksville during business hours.
Written submissions are encouraged and will be received up until 4.30 pm Monday 21 October 2019.
