Betterment Bridge Projects
Council has secured funding from Transport for NSW under the ‘Regional Roads and Transport Recovery Package’ for the purposes of improving resilience to transport infrastructure damaged by the February and March 2022 Severe Weather and Flooding event.
To facilitate planning for these upcoming works a detailed survey of the below locations will be occurring during the specified locations and times below.
Cassidy's Bridge - Wirrimbi Road, Newee Creek
Details:
Surveying within the road corridor for future road and bridge upgrades between Siding Road and Pade Crescent.
The surveying will occur between Tuesday 2nd October to Friday 4th October 2024 between 7:00am and 4:30pm, weather permitting.
Traffic control will in place during the works and short commuter delays are expected under ‘stop and slow’ traffic management.
The works are necessary for upcoming Bridge works to Cassidys Bridge and Wirrimbi Road.

Browns Crossing No1 Bridge – Browns Crossing Road, Warrell Creek
Details:
Surveying within the road corridor for future road and bridge upgrades on Browns Crossing Road from the intersection of Giinagay Way to approximately 400m south of Browns Crossing Bridge.
The surveying will occur between Tuesday 2nd October to Friday 4th October 2024 between 7:00am and 4:30pm, weather permitting. Traffic control will in place during the works and short commuter delays are expected under ‘stop and slow’ traffic management.
The works are necessary for upcoming Bridge works to Browns Crossing No1 Bridge and Browns Crossing Road.

Little Motleys Bridge – Rodeo Drive, Bowraville
Details:
Surveying within the road corridor for future road and bridge upgrades on Little Motleys Bridge on Rodeo Drive between Grassy Road and Bellingen Road.
The surveying will occur between Tuesday 2nd October to Friday 4th October 2024 between 7:00am and 4:30pm, weather permitting. Traffic control will in place during the works and short commuter delays are expected under ‘stop and slow’ traffic management.
The works are necessary for upcoming Bridge works to Little Motleys Bridge and Rodeo Drive.
