INTERRUPTION TO WATER SUPPLY – VALLA BEACH RESIDENTS

It is advised that, subject to satisfactory weather conditions, an interruption to your water supply is planned to occur on:

DATE:   WEDNESDAY 4 DECEMBER 2024 TO THURSDAY 5 DECEMBER 2024

PERIOD:  10:00PM to 5.00AM -NIGHT WORKS

This is to enable Council to undertake critical valve and fire hydrant replacement on the water supply infrastructure.

Sometimes these activities cause a disturbance to flow conditions and dirty water may occur when supply is restored.  It is recommended that you check the water clarity prior to use for washing or cooking.

PLEASE NOTE: Residents should turn on a laundry tub or bath tub tap to release excess pressure when water returns on Thursday morning.

(This is due to the possibility of pockets of air still in the household service due to the size or the water shut down)
