DISRUPTION OF TRAFFIC FOR INSTALLATION OF NEW SEWERAGE DIVERSION MAINS AND STRUCTURES IN SECTION OF LANE – NO. 2 AND THE BEND, MCLENNANS LANE, MACKSVILLE

It is advised that, subject to satisfactory weather conditions, work on the sewer main affecting McLennans Lane, Macksville is planned to occur on:

DATE:                                      MONDAY 13 MAY 2024 to FRIDAY 17 MAY 2024 INCLUSIVE

PERIOD:                                  7.00am to 4.30pm

This is to enable Council to install new sewerage diversion mains and structures in a section of the lane. The work will cause a disruption to traffic. A section of the lane will be closed to one-way traffic with personnel on site during work hours. Caution is advised after hours as no traffic controllers will be onsite.

Traffic signage and barriers will remain in place for the duration of the works. Replacement of a section of kerb and channelling in the area will also occur as a result of the works.

As the works will be carried out on a live sewer works  Council request all  householders to limit the use of washing machines and any other high use water fixtures during these hours.
