As a mother, carer, farmer, businesswoman and educator Luby is committed to supporting sustainability and stewardship of all the resources within the Nambucca Valley - the health and well-being of the community, the land and its people.
Fascinated by the Sciences and plants at a young age, she studied at the Australian National University (ANU), specialising as a cancer immunologist and in 2017 designed and implemented an Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access Framework (IDEA) by which all work at ANU is now evaluated.
Since choosing to move to the Nambucca Valley in 2019 she has established a small-scale regenerative beef grazing and horticultural business focused on local bush foods. Luby is committed to “walk the talk” in supporting the Nambucca Valley in building Our Sustainable Future.
