Public Interest Disclosures

The Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022 (PID Act) provides for public officials to have multiple options for reporting serious wrongdoing. This includes reporting to a disclosure officer, their manager and other agencies, such as integrity agencies (i.e. ICAC, NSW Ombudsman, Auditor General, Privacy Commissioner, and the Information Commissioner)

Public Sector agencies have an obligation to ensure other agency staff have awareness of the PID Act. The NSW Ombudsman have developed a series of awareness videos which are listed below.
